Confirmed vs Unverified vs Not Yet Reviewed: What Each Status Means
Short answer: Confirmed means a fact has a dated, citable source. Unverified means someone has claimed it but we have not been able to check it. Not Yet Reviewed means nobody has checked yet, and it is never a "no". Two other labels, Mixed / Unclear and Requires Legal/Financial Review, cover conflicting evidence and questions that need a professional.
The Labels at a Glance
| Label | What it means | What it does not mean |
|---|---|---|
| Confirmed / Verified | Checked against evidence that meets the rule for that field, with a date | That the app is safe, legal, or recommended |
| Unverified | A claim exists, from the app, an agent, or a user, but has not passed a check | That the claim is false |
| Not Yet Reviewed | No check has been done yet. This is the default for every field. | Unavailable, unsupported, or illegal |
| Mixed / Unclear | Sources conflict. The sources are shown. | A final answer either way |
| Requires Legal/Financial Review | The question needs a qualified professional, so we make no claim | That there is a problem |
What Moves a Field to "Confirmed"
Each field has its own evidence rule, set out in the India Guide:
- Availability in India: four dated checks. See what "available in India" means.
- UPI / payment support: the app's own deposit page, checked on a date. See UPI proof.
- KYC requirement: a quote from the app's own terms or privacy policy. See KYC proof.
- Legal status and state restrictions: a named statute, rule, or official notice, never an editorial opinion.
- Tax / TDS: always "Requires Legal/Financial Review" until a qualified review is done.
Three Worked Examples
Example 1: an advert says "UPI supported". That is a claim, so the UPI field can show at most "Unverified". It becomes "Confirmed" only after the app's own deposit page is checked and dated.
Example 2: sign-up works with a +91 number, but the site will not load on some Indian networks. The checks disagree, so Availability shows "Mixed / Unclear" with both findings listed.
Example 3: nobody has looked at an app's terms yet. KYC stays "Not Yet Reviewed". We do not write "KYC required" because similar apps require it.
Can a Status Go Backwards?
Yes. A "Confirmed" fact is only as good as its check date. If an app changes its terms, its payment page, or its domain, the old check no longer applies. The field then returns to "Unverified" or "Mixed / Unclear" until it is checked again. This matters in 2026 because Section 14 of the Online Gaming Act, 2025 allows online money gaming services to be blocked, and Section 7 bars payment providers from processing their payments. Both can change an app's status quickly.
How to Read a Game Page's Status Panel
- Find the "India-Specific Status" box on the game page.
- Read each field separately. A confirmed UPI field says nothing about legal status.
- Check the date next to any confirmed field. Older checks are weaker.
- Treat "Not Yet Reviewed" as "unknown", not as "no".
As of 28 September 2026, every field on every game page still reads "Not Yet Reviewed", apart from Tax / TDS, which reads "Requires Financial/Legal Review". We publish that honestly rather than guess.

FAQs
What does "Not Yet Reviewed" mean on All Yono India?
It means nobody has checked that fact for that app yet. It is never a negative answer. It does not mean the app is unavailable, unsupported or illegal.
What is the difference between Unverified and Not Yet Reviewed?
Unverified means a claim exists, for example an advert saying 'UPI supported', but it has not passed a check. Not Yet Reviewed means no check has started.
Does Confirmed mean an app is safe or legal?
No. Confirmed applies to one field only, such as KYC or UPI, and only as of the check date. It is not an endorsement.
Can a Confirmed status change?
Yes. If the app changes its terms, payment page or domain, the field returns to Unverified or Mixed / Unclear until it is checked again.
