Is Gold Rummy Available in India? Status & Guide

Published: 18 August 2026 · Last Reviewed: 28 September 2026 · Written by Rashmika Singh, Founder of All Yono India

Gold Rummy launched on the All Yono directory at 8:00 AM IST on August 19, 2026, with a working download link now live. Launching is only the first checkpoint, though — India-specific legal classification, state-by-state availability, and KYC/UPI behavior all still require independent testing rather than assumption. This guide covers what's actually confirmed so far, and separately, how rummy apps in general are typically classified in India.

What's Confirmed About Gold Rummy Right Now

Gold Rummy has launched, and a working download link is live at its app status page. Beyond that, All Yono India has no confirmed state-availability list, no verified promo code, and no independently-tested KYC or withdrawal process for Gold Rummy yet — those checks happen after launch, not before, and this page will be updated as each one is completed.

How Rummy Is Generally Classified in India

Separate from anything specific to Gold Rummy: Indian courts have long described rummy as a game of "substantial skill" rather than pure chance. That history no longer settles the question for online play involving money. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 and the Online Gaming Rules, 2026, in force since 1 May 2026, prohibit online money games across India, whether they are based on skill, chance, or both. Read our guide to the current legal position on online rummy for the official sources.

Older articles often list states such as Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Assam, Nagaland, and Sikkim as the places where real-money rummy is restricted. Those state-level rules predate the national Act, so a state being absent from that list should not be read as permission to play for money. Gold Rummy's own behaviour in different states has not been independently tested.

This page will be updated with an actual India-Specific Status assessment — the same "Available / Restricted / Mixed-Unclear" framework used for every other app in this directory — once that testing is complete.

What Still Needs Verification

Now that Gold Rummy has a working download link, these are the specific things worth checking before using it, based on what matters for every other app in this directory:

• Login method — most apps in this network require only a phone number and SMS OTP, with no separate password. Whether Gold Rummy follows the same pattern hasn't been independently confirmed.
• KYC requirements — real-money rummy apps generally ask for some level of identity verification before withdrawal. Whether and when Gold Rummy requests this hasn't been checked yet.
• UPI/payment method support — most apps in this category support UPI for both deposits and withdrawals. This is unconfirmed for Gold Rummy specifically until the app is tested directly.
• State-level access — even where an app is technically available, individual states may block access at the ISP or app-store level. This has to be tested per-state, not assumed from the general skill-gaming legal pattern.

Where to Download Gold Rummy

All Yono India's standing policy is to publish a download link only once it's been independently verified — meaning the link has actually been confirmed to lead to the real Gold Rummy app, not a lookalike. That verified link is now live on the Gold Rummy app page.

How to Get Updates

Join the All Yono India Telegram channel, or check back on this page — it will be the first place this directory's India-specific findings about Gold Rummy are published as testing is completed.

Bottom Line

Gold Rummy has launched with a working download link, but its India-specific legal classification, state availability, and KYC process are all still unverified. What can be said honestly is that online rummy played for money is prohibited in India under the Online Gaming Act, 2025 (read our legal status guide), and that this page will be updated with real, tested findings about Gold Rummy specifically as they're confirmed.
